A Big welcome to the Bakewell Showground Spectacular

Show Date 2012: Sunday 6th & Monday 7th of the May Bank Holiday.

SHOW IS OPEN as planned, our professional events company 'Team777' has worked hard in the rainy weeks to make sure the show is fully operational ready for you guys to enjoy. The rain may put of some of the exhibits however we have a great action packed 2 days lined up. It is advised to bring suitable footwear, so no high heals please! The only changes due to weather is no tractor pulling....however we have a Spectacular MONSTER TRUCK showing its power crushing cars throughout the day! Great Times, See You There.

First of all a big thank you to everyone that attended the Bakewell Showground Spectacular last year and if you didn't attend you're in the right place, May 2010 was our first year and we had a cracking show. 2011 was even better and now we have yet more to do in 2012. We already have more exhibits, more trade stands, more entertainment, more music, more everything for 2012. Especially for the kids we have a spectacular array of animals coming from Camels, Zebras, to 15 Birds of prey. We also have Circus Mondao who boast a variety of Highly skilled artistes from around the world. See the What's On tab.

We are also currently looking for sponsorship and we can offer an array of packages to suit, so please get in touch if you would like to speak further.

So what have you got planned for the May Day Bank Holiday?

How about a brilliant day out at the BAKEWELL SHOWGROUND SPECTACULAR which is being held on Sunday 6th & Monday 7th of May 2012.

A bank holiday spectacular fun day out for all the family set in one of the most picturesque showgrounds in the country. Festivities include a very impressive Fun Fair with a great selection of rides for kids and adults. A prestigious selection of classic and exotic cars will be attending the event on both days from Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's, Maserati's, and this year even a Ford GT40. There will also be Race cars, Rally Cars, and Motor Bikes.

We have one of the largest gatherings of Classic Plant and Machinery seen in the area representing both construction and military variants, some of the machinery dates back to the 1940's and has been painstakingly restored to its former glory. There will also be a gathering of Classic/Vintage Heavy Haulage Equipment, The likes of have never been seen before at the Bakewell Showground.

We also have another spectacular demonstration from Peak Vale Tractor Pulling, these guys put on a great spectacle with lots of high powered tractors dragging on the strip, great fun to watch.

A large Craft Tent will be on site with a fabulous selection inside including Art Work and a variety Skilled Crafts. We also have many Trade Stands for shopping.

Entertainment includes, Live Music, Hot Air Balloon Flights, Children's Activities, Bouncy Castle Games, Punch & Judy, Clowns, Face Painting, a Prize Draw, Animals from across the world, and much much more.

As mentioned above Circus Mondao will be attending and having a live Show at 4pm on both Days for an additional charge per person see prises tab. The show only has a limited number of seats so make sure to book in once you have entered the Spectacular.

There will be an impressive selection of Food from a Traditional Hog Roast, Paella, Burgers, German Sausages, Crepes/Pancakes, Doughnuts and Sweets. We also have a Licenced Bar for the Adults.
